Cast on a multiple of 14 stitches + 1 edge stitch.

Row 1: P to end.
Row 2: K to end.
Row 3: P to end.
Row 4: *P11, slip 3 purlwise, repeat from * to last stitch, p1.
Row 5: K1, * slip 3 purlwise, k11, repeat from * to end.
Row 6 and 7: As rows 4 and 5.
Row 8: As row 4.
Rows 9 - 11: As rows 1 - 3.
Row 12: P4, *slip 3 purlwise, k11, repeat from * to last 11 stitches, slip 3 purlwise, p8.
Row 13: K8, *slip 3 purlwise, k11, repeat from * to last 7 stitches, slip 3 purlwise, k4.
Row 14 and 15: As rows 12 and 13.
Row 16: As row 12.

These 16 rows  make up the pattern.
